For those of you having errors in creating a image, First I would wipe the drive (format) and reinstall all programs needed and dont browse the internet except to update windows. Sorry for my many questions. or do you have to reinstall the programs. I'm not just talking about the files, but the master boot record, allocation table, and everything else needed to boot and run your operating system. have a peek here

I have done a couple of restores (Win 8.1). My C: drive is 68G and the system image is only 38G. All three are amazing products. Will there be a simple addition of "image" backup data to that partition with file redundancy?
