A TV can output digital sound from its internal tuner but not from an HDMI input. S/PDIF cannot handle multichannel audio beyond stereo (two channels). Hookup like this.Source to receiver, receiver passes video to TV. If yes maybe i buy a receiver that is the best option for sure. navigate here

the TS files can be played by windows media player.
